Abstract:Eremias, a genus belonging to the family Lacertidae, is typically adapted to living in arid areas including deserts, hills and steppes. The paper presents a brief review on the taxonomy history of the species distributed in China. Besides, the present study on chromosomal and biochemical work is also included.
