Habitat Selection of Moschus chrysogaster sifanicus in Summer in Northwestern Plateau, Sichuan Province

Abstract:Based on the quantitative theory, the studies show that the key habitat selection factors of Moschus chrysogaster sifanicus in summer in northwestern plateau of Sichuan are vegetation type, shelter class, slope aspect and human disturbance, the secondary factors are food abundance, slope position, water resource and natural enemy, and its most suitable habitat is shrubs on shaded slopes with better shelter class and less disturbance.
