Some Progresses in Research on Relationship between Sparrow Populations and Environmental Factors

Abstract:This text makes a review on relationship between population quantity and environmental factors of sparrow abroad since 1986. ①There are nest competition and overlap between tree sparrow and house sparrow, and horse sparrow has more defense behavior and quantity than that of tree sparrow. Being compared with alone  reproduction, the community reproduction of tree sparrow could produce more eggs and more nestlings at first time, but the results turn out contrary at the second and the third time. ②The application of agriculture chemicals is harmful to brading successfully for tree sparrow. ③The sparrow can be used as the designation of the pollution of the environment. Abnormal metal elements inside the sparrow include aluminum, mercury, cadmium and lead. When lead backlog is over 2μg/g dry weight in their bodies, there are more and more ill or dead nestlings. ④In modern developed countries, the traffic can cause the sparrow’s death.
