Effect of Four Kinds of Insecticides on Predatory Function of Paederus fuscipes Curtis

Abstract:Paederus fuscipes Curtis is a common predatory natural enemy in farmland. The experiment using soaking method tested the mortalities and effects on predatory function of four kinds of common insecticides to P. fuscipes with common lowest concentration in farmland. The experiment results indicate that P. fuscipes is most sensitive to chlorpyrifos and deltamethrin, less sensitive to imidacloprid and buprofezin and omethoate, but bisultap has least effect on mortality and predatory function. The effects of four insecticides on predatory function of survivals are also stronger than the lethalities.
