Abstract:In order to find efficient foreign gene transfer methods in transgenic silkworm research, the transposon vector containing green fluorescent protein gene (gfp) and helper plasmid were transferred into the fertilized gees of silkworm by the method of pressured permeation, liposome-mediated gene transfer, sperm-mediated gene transfer and microinjection. In the next generation, the green fluorescence can be detected on silkworm cocoon under UV light and gene of gfp in the chromosomes can be detected by PCR. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods have been compared. This is the base for the further research on transgenic silkworm.
