Abstract:The community structure of benthic nematoda in Tianjin offshore area was analyzed with the multivariate statistical method. A total of 15 stations were arranged for nematoda sampling. The results between hierachical cluster and non-metric Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) were much accordant. Both the results indicated that the community structure of benthic nematoda varied with the survey stations, and these stations could be divided into four groups according to the nematoda species and their abundance. Most of the middle and southern stations had similar community structure, but the northern stations had particular nematoda components. And the nematoda species varied greatly in the deeper water area.
