Abstract:The morphology of Fejervarya multistriata was studied comparatively by random capture in Bizuo, Maolan, Guizhou province from May to June 2010. The results indicate that the body colors of the population of F. multistriataare variety  in the same condition. The body colors are divided in two types, the normal type (Type Ⅰ) and dorsal-ordinate type (TypeⅡ), based on the dorsal ordinate, and the proportion is 1.028:1 (n=365). Type Ⅰ mainly consists of 4 subtypes and Type Ⅱ5 ones are based on color spots and the V-spot between the eyes. Intermediate subtypes exist between them. In addition to the diversity of color spots, the body color of F. multistriata corresponds with its living condition in nature, which is perhaps the reason that this kind of species has been able to become the superior species in this region.
