Comparative Studies on the EST Isozyme in Paa yunnanensis and Paa boulengeri

Abstract:The EST isozyme zymograms of four tissues (liver, intestine, stomach, and lung) from Paa yunnanensis and P. boulengeri in Liupanshui were studied by vertical polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results indicated that the EST isozyme zymogram ofP. yunnanensis and P. boulengeri had a total of 10 bands. Among them, there were 9 bands in P. yunnanensis and 7 bands in P. boulengeri. The EST isozyme zymogram of the two species was different. Furthermore, both Rf and expression intensity of EST isozyme in different tissues from a species were also different. In addition, the EST isozyme zymogram of P. yunnanensis was more complicated than that of P. boulengeri.
