Detection on Antihelmintic Resistance for Nematodes in Alimentary Canal of Captive Giraffes

Abstract:The Eggs Hatch Test (EHT) was used to detect antihelmintic resistance for nematodes in the digestive canal of giraffes. The results showed that ED50 of albendazole, levamisole and fenbendazole were 0.1303 μg/mL, 0.3244 μg/mL and 0.1488 μg/mL, respectively. The antihelmintic resistance of nematodes in the digestive canal of giraffes is different for albendazole, levamisole and fenbendazole.
