Description of a New Record Species of Seinura in China

Abstract:Anew species of nematode in China, Seinura aurangabadensis Suryawanshi, 1971, was found in the rhizosphere soil of Plaseolus vulgaris in Qingzhou of Shandong province. Female nematodes were characterized by the followings: head slightly off-set; stylet without knobs, 17.3~18. 5μm; excretory pore situated posterior to median bulb and anterior to nerve ring; post uterine sac nonexistent; anus obscure; tail is short and thread-like.
