Observations on the Characteristics of Vertebrae and Tubular Bone of Felis bieti

Abstract:Vertebra of the Chinese mountain cat, Felis bieti, was composed of 7 cervical, 13 thoracic, 6 lumbar, 3 healing sacral, and 20 coccygeal vertebrae. The characteristics of vertebra in Chinese mountain cats were generally described and compared with that of domestic cats. The basic characteristics of the tubular bone of Chinese mountain cats were also discussed here.
