The histological structure of the kidney in Aquila chrysaetoswas observed in this paper. The results showed that the kidney consists of many reniculi and each reniculus can be divided into a cortex and medulla. The nephron consists of a renal corpuscle plus a long folded renal tubule. The renal corpuscle is a combination of the renal glomerulus and the renal capsule. The renal tubule consists of 4 segments: the proximal convoluted tubule, the nephric loop, the distal convoluted tubule, and the connected tubule. The collecting duct consists of the perilobular collecting tubule and the medullary collecting duct. There are rich peripolar cells.
