Abstract: The amino acid content in the colostrum of humans, cows and pigs were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The results indicated that Glu was the most abundant amino acid and Met was the least in the colostrum samples; the amino acid content in cow’s milk was similar to sow’s milk, while they both showed a significant difference from human milk.
