One New Species of Tetrix Latreille (Orthoptera:Tetrigoidea) from Jiuwan Mountian of Guangxi, China

In this paper, one new species of the genus Tetrix Latreille, Tetrix interrupta sp. nov. is described. Type specimen is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, China.
Tetrix interrupta sp. nov.
The new species is allied to Tetrix jinshajiangensis Zheng2001, but differs in: 1) anterior margin of vertex straight, not protruding beyond eyes; 2) antenna inserted below the lower margins of eyes; 3) without abbreviated carinae between shoulders; 4) lower margins of midfemur straight and ornate with bushy hairs; 5) width of midfemur equal to width of tegmina; 6) midkeel of upper side of hind femur with large teeth.
Length of body: ♀9.5~10 mm Length of pronotum: ♀ 10.5~11 mm Length of hind femur: ♀5.2~5.5 mm
Holotype , Guangxi Luocheng(Jiuwan Mountain), (24.8°N, 108.9°E, alt. 900 m)19 May, 2007, collected by DENG Wei-an. Paratypes: 1♀, same data as holotype.
Etymology. This new species name is derived from the Latin interruptameaning midkeel of pronotum interrupted.
