Sinospelaeobdella wulingensis (Hirudinea, Haemadipsidae) Found in Linshui County, Sichuan Province

Abstract:A new locality of the troglobitic terrestrial leeches Sinospelaeobdella wulingensis was reported from the cave Laolong Dong, Linshui County, Sichuan Province. The identification was confirmed on comparisons of the new material with the both known species (S. cavatuses and S. wulingensis) of the genus in morphological characteristics and mitochondrial COⅠ gene sequence analysis as well. This is the first report of a cave-adapted terrestrial leech of the family Haemadipsidae for Sichuan Province.
