Abstract:Correlations between body weight and each of other 7 body measurements: shoulder height, head length, ear length, chest girth, tail length, body length, and hind leg length of 33 female milus of 1 to 5 years old in Milu Park of Beijing were calculated and the data were analyzed with principal component analysis. The results showed that there were direct correlations of different levels between body weight and all the body measurement traits. Female milu grew fast during 1 to 2 years old, and reached physical maturity at age of 3 to 4 years old.
