Surveys on Control Effects of Baiting Intensities in Controlling Callosciurus erythraeus

Abstract:In order to optimize the cost and method in controlling Callosciurus erythraeus, surveys on the control effects of different baiting intensities of bromadiolone were conducted during March 2015 to July 2016. During the controlling season (February to March), the optimized control method with good control effect and low cost was determined. Specifically, setting 4 baiting stations per hm2 with 20 g×2 baiting bags in each station and the concentration of bromadiolone was around 0.008%. Meanwhile, re-baiting after 15 days was proved to be necessary for a more effective control.
