Immunohistochemistry Localization of Hatching Enzyme in the Developing Embryos of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco

Abstract:Hatching enzyme was a major factor to cause the early stripping during the fish artificial propagation, which existed in the embryos of a variety of aquatic species and affected embryo growth. In this study, the embryo of Pelteobagrus fulvidraco was chosen to measure the localization of hatching enzyme during different incubation periods using immunohistochemical method, and to explore the temporal and spatial distribution expression of hatching enzyme in P. fulvidraco embryos. The results revealed that hatching enzyme mostly distributed in germ layer and inner layer of the outer embryo membrane. In addition, hatching enzyme existed in each embryo period, and non-significant expression was found at each time point. The information presented in this study was vital for the research on the hatching enzyme mechanism of action of interpretation in the process of P. fulvidraco embryo hatch.
