Sixty-four adult Przewalski’s wonder gecko (Teratoscincus przewalskii) (26 females and 38 males) were collected from Qiemo (Xinjiang, China). And the sexual size dimorphism of T. przewalskii was studied by measuring the physical characteristics. The results showed that the mouth width, head width, head height, interorbital distance and tail length were positively correlated to snout-vent length (SVL). The results of ANCOVA showed that the mouth width of the female T. przewalskii were significantly larger than those of males. However, the body size, head width, head height, interorbital distance and tail length were not significantly different between the males and females. These results suggested that T. przewalskii is a species with sexual monomorphic body size, and the sexual difference in mouth width may be due to the dietary divergence between males and females.
