Morphological Features of Fish Body in Luzhi River, with Comments on Their significance of Adaptation

Abstract:According to body shapes, fishes of Luzhi River can be divided into three types, i.e. compressed, cylindrical and flatted. In each type, fish body may produce varied changes and form some appendages, such as oral disk, pelvic fin disk and thorax disk. Based on the principle that characters accord with function and adaptation, it is discussed and analyzed that the relationship between morphological features of fish body and their habitat environment.
