Abstract:Parasitic wasps is an important natural enemy of agricultural and forestry pests, it can control the occurrence and harm of pests effectively. Parasitic wasps play a role in biological control, it can inhibit the host immune, and then kill the host, mainly by injecting venom and other parasitic factors into host pests. Venom proteins play an important role in this process, venom proteins help parasite wasps paralyze kill other insects in feeding and defense, which provide favorable conditions for the survival and reproduction of parasitoids. However, the systematic study of parasitoids venom proteins, clear the composition and function of the parasitic wasps venom protein can help us to make better use of parasitic wasps to control pests. In this paper, the composition, characteristic and function of venom protein of parasitoid were reviewed and prospected.
