Potential Predation And Conservation Vacancy Analysis Of Syrmaticus humiae In Guangxi Based On Maxent Model

Abstract:It is very important to understand the distribution of the living space and the relationship with the environmental factors. As one of the distribution areas of the Hume's pheasant (Syrmaticus humiae) in Guangxi, by searching the literature and distribution lists to get the distribution points, using the MAXENT model of GIS spatial technology get its main influencing factors and adaptability habitat. The results of model evaluation are excellent. Gap analysis by delineating suitable habitats and existing nature reserves. The habitat suitable area predicted by the model is mainly distributed in the northwestern region of Guangxi, the total suitable habitat area was 6 771.84 km2. The established protected areas cover 16.72% of the suitable habitat, but there are 4 985.86 km2 of suitable habitats outside the protected area. For more effective protection, the protection of vacant areas should be protection.
